Add in the adjustable base and a nice holiday discount and we were well under the cost of the Tempurpedic. We both workout 5-6 days and the memory foam helps relieve pressure points. And it feels great to us in all 3 sleeping positions. We mostly side sleep, but sometimes will sleep on our backs or stomachs. We went to the store and tried the two different firmness options they have and chose the firmest. Luckily we have a Saatva store where we live. I did a bit of research and found Saatva - a well regarded brand with a great warranty and The “Loom and Leaf” seemed to be a direct competitor to Tempurpedic. No way! We laid on some other memory foam mattresses but didn’t like them nearly as much. Then the salesman told us the price …$$$ Over 5k just for the matress. Enter the Tempur Luxe Breeze - we fell in love the second we layed down. But as a couple we kept coming back to memory foam for its superior motion isolation - but sleeping hot had been an issue in the past. We tried and liked all different kinds of mattresses individually, my favorite was the latex mattresses. We kept waking each other up in the night. My partner and I outlined what was most important to us: motion isolation. Go to a matress store if you can… many of them have the bed in box options to try as well as other brands. What helped us most was reading that we really needed to try the matress first. This sub was super helpful so I wanted to come back and say we found a great matress (for us) in the Saatva L&L FIRM.
